Install the App (PWA)

SiliconWit.IO is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it directly from your browser and use it like a native app. No app store needed.

What is a PWA?

A Progressive Web App runs in its own window, launches from your home screen or taskbar, and updates automatically. It looks and feels like a native app but is delivered through the web.

Desktop (Chrome / Edge)

1. Open siliconwit.io in Chrome or Edge
2. Look for the install icon in the address bar (a monitor with a down arrow)
3. Click it and select Install
4. The app opens in its own window and appears in your taskbar or dock

You can also use the browser menu: three-dot menu > Install SiliconWit.IO.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open siliconwit.io in Chrome
2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
3. Select Install App or Add to Home Screen
4. Confirm by tapping Install
5. The app icon appears on your home screen

If you don’t see the option, try scrolling down in the menu or refreshing the page.

iOS (Safari)

1. Open siliconwit.io in Safari
2. Tap the Share button (square with an arrow pointing up)
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
4. Tap Add in the top-right corner
5. The app icon appears on your home screen

Note

On iOS, PWAs must be installed through Safari. Chrome and Firefox on iOS do not support PWA installation.

Auto-Install Prompt

When you visit siliconwit.io on a supported browser, you may see an automatic prompt asking if you want to install the app. Tap Install to add it directly.
